There's no shame in that. 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape?' is a lovely movie.

*Titter*

"Finding Neverland"
I cried when I saw it in the cinema and then I cried when I watched on DVD over Christmas and I couldn't stop and I didn't even know why I was crying really.

I've never cried during a film but I cried like a mental during parts of series 2 of Extras. My brain didn't understand it was a comedy.

Schindler's List - the first time I saw it in the cinema and the end made me sob so much I thought I may be committed to an asylum - last week watched it again and wasn't quite so overwrought -

Oh wait - Dancer In The Dark. They killed Bjork!

'Lo & Behold - that's not the Michael Jackson story, is it ?
Heathen - that reminds me of a story that [she of whom we do not speak] told me. She went to see 'Shadowlands' in the cinema. Near the end, she was sobbing it up real good. This, compounded by the fact she had a cold, resulted in the emission of a massive "whoop" sound. Everyone in the cinema proceeded to laugh at her. So she had to run away the moment the credits started rolling.
*Sigh*
Foxi - argh! Now I can't watch it!

No. You're thinking of "Fondling Neverland".

I cried at 'Trading Places.' And 'Jane Eyre.' And 'Brewster's Millions.'

Pretty much every film I see makes me cry.

Brilliantly you have caught me at a moment where I am able to say - >a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0033149/">They Drive By Night" and look as though I have some sort of taste. Normally it would be Truly Madly Deeply or That Darn Cat! or something equally cringy.
I went to see something with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage in at the Smokers Cinema at Uni and the girl I went with cried so loudly and embarrassingly it put me off going there ever again.

Gambino - 'Brewster's Millions' ? You have just leapt to the top of the Crybaby League.
Mmmmmm - a proper noir talkie ? You have just plummeted to the bottom of the Crybaby League. Although weeping like a tool in what I assume was 'City Of Angels' has scored you a few sob points. That was a toss movie.

Speaking of toss movies, please tell me you didn't actually like King Pong? I was so relieved when the end finally hove into view that I would have cheered when the ape snuffed it - if I still had the energy.

What's not to love ? It has dinosaurs! Insects! Peril at sea! Screaming women! An overgrown misunderstood hairy anti-hero! It is, in fact, almost exactly like this blog.
